Terms of service — summary

This page summarises the terms on which Techvora provides ValoraHR to organisations. It explains how the service works in practice, in plain language.

Last updated Tuesday 15 September 2026

This is a summary, not the final contract. Techvora is finalising the full terms of service. Until they are published, the agreement you make with Techvora when your organisation is set up takes precedence over anything on this page.

Who provides the service

ValoraHR is provided by Techvora. In these terms, "your organisation" means the business that uses ValoraHR, and "users" means the people your organisation gives access to.

Trials and getting started

There is no public sign-up and no free plan. Techvora sets up each organisation, usually after a demo, with a trial whose length is agreed at the time (normally 14 days). Your organisation's owner account is created for your organisation — it is not a Techvora account.

Subscriptions and prices

After the trial, continued use needs a paid subscription. Current prices are on the pricing page; they are monthly and exclude VAT. Plans priced per employee count active employees. How changes to the price of an existing subscription are notified will be set out in the full terms.

If a subscription lapses

Nothing is deleted because of billing. When a trial or subscription ends without renewal, your organisation's ValoraHR becomes read-only: records stay visible, people can still download their own data, and administrators can still export. Changes are possible again once the subscription is renewed.

Your data

Your organisation owns the HR records it puts into ValoraHR and is the data controller for them. Techvora processes them only to provide the service, as described in the privacy notice. Techvora's operators can manage your subscription and account set-up but have no access to your HR records in the product.

If your organisation closes its account, Techvora deletes the organisation and its records after an export period agreed with you.

Acceptable use

  • Give access only to people who should have it, and keep roles and permissions up to date.
  • Do not try to access another organisation's data, probe the service for vulnerabilities without Techvora's written agreement, or disrupt it.
  • Upload only content your organisation has the right to hold, and do not use ValoraHR to store malware.
  • Keep your account secure. Techvora recommends two-factor authentication for every user.

Availability and support

Techvora works to keep ValoraHR available and secure. No specific uptime percentage is promised on this page. Support is available through Help and support in the product and at support@techvora.net.

ValoraHR is a tool, not legal advice

ValoraHR helps you keep records and follow your own processes. It does not decide what employment, health and safety or data protection law requires of your organisation, and using it does not by itself make your organisation compliant with any law.
